Making the Most of Your Massage
I am a very skilled and experienced massage therapist. I have over 7 years of experience in many clinical settings as well as extensive teaching experience in the field. My therapeutic approach combines eastern techniques such as acupressure with western medical techniques and a nurturing, relaxing session with focus on your specific therapeutic needs.
My two main areas of expertise are:
Massage for Pain - Investigating the source of pain or musculoskeletal limitation, particularly "from the shoulders up" (neck, shoulder, head & jaw). Learn about Whiplash & Neck Pain, Headaches, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, The Importance of Proper Posture, Sports Massage
Pregnancy Massage - Massage for the childbearing year (prenatal massage and using acupressure and aromatherapy to enhance the body's readiness for labor, a.k.a. induction massage). As a prenatal massage therapist, I can help bring a sense of comfort and bodily awareness to your pregnancy. Learn more about Pregnancy Massage.
